Prabal Gurung Designer Fashion Shopping- Luxury Clothing
Prabal Gurung was born in Singapore where he grew up in the Kingdom of Nepal's Kathmandu. His fashion career took skape in Delhi, India
with studies at the New Delhi's National Institute of Fashion Technology. While at the Institute Gurung apprenticed at local production and
fashion houses and worked with Manish Arora. After travels to London and Melbourne working in the fashion industry collecting experiences
he moved to New York in 1999, In the big apple Prabal Gurung interned with Donna Karen and attended the prestigious Parsons School of
Design. In his first year at Parsons he was awarded the "Best Designer" title at the annual Parsons/Fit design competition. After Parsons
Prabel Gurung worked two years with Cynthia Rowley's design team to gain valuable fashion business experience. Next he became the
Design Director at Bill Blass and after five sucessful years at Blass Gurung started his own collection-PRABAL GURUNG. Celebrities that wear
his designs include Ashley Green, Kate Hudson, Demi Moore, Michele Obama and more.
